Event Filled weekend

What a busy weekend.. It started Friday.. the crew helped move b into his new condo.. it is a pretty sweet condo.. the hardwood really makes the place look really nice. We sat around, drank and built kitchen tables and chairs. The next day was off to Randys for the bi-weekly game of holdem. This time I won second place and atleast came back with my money. So far I have been doing just good enough to win back my money that I put in but not good enough to win the big pot.. gosh darnit. One of these days.
Sunday, Rudz and I went over to Nudz place to watch the Pistons game on the 60 incher, then got the idea to go to the movies and watch Date Movie.. Official review.. The second worst movie I have ever seen. “Punch Drunk Love” with Adam Sandler was still the worst, but this one came in a close second. The bits went too quick and really werent funny at all. Too much gay sh!T goin on in it and just overall a storyline that went too fast, wasnt funny, and contained bad acting.. they should just stick to the Scary Movie Series. Those atleast made me laugh a couple of times. Afterwards Jackie, Me and Nudz went to LifeTime Fittness and bought a membership and actually worked out tonight.. It was good to get back into it instead of being in front of a computer all night.. however I am having one h3ll of a time writing this.. my arms can’t stay on top of the table and I am miss typing a lot of words..But hey.. it will all be worth it in the end when I can see my abs again..
That is all for now.. I am gonna start going to bed earlier and waking up earlier to get ready for my new job that I start in a week. I will need to start waking up at 6 am instead of 8 now.. so that really just means going to bed at 12 instead of 2..

Well it is 12:15.. off to bed

Fusioncrew.org is redesigned

Well after a long hard week of designing/coding/modding/installing/filling the fusioncrew.org website I think it is just about done. Done enough to be called live and complete. There are a few more things that I am looking to do on it but for right now I need a break from it. I migrated over the front end to Joomla from wordpress because it just made more sense for a CMS rather than a blog system on the front page. I was also able to integrate the logins between Joomla and phpbb which was a big plus. Their framework for plugins and 3rd party customization is unsurpassed. I have probably spent a good 25 hours this week on customizing it to the way that I like it. I even had my lovely wife make a new logo cause I am graphically challenged. I also spent alot of time on getting the Joomla default search to search my standalone install of phpbb which was not easy. Luckily I found some code that was meant for the phpbb component and modded it to work for a standalone version. Ahh well, its been crazy. For those of you who don’t know about the site.. go ahead and check it out. http://www.fusioncrew.org.

DanFrei.com is offline

Because it is just WAY too hard to manage as many sites as I am currently managing, esepcially as many personal sites as I am managing. I did not have enough content to fill both sites so chilifrei.net is my new main website. If you did browse to danfrei.com then you would be reading this right now because I have redirected all traffic to chilifrei.net. I know alot of funny videos are on danfrei.com and I will soon find a way to get those moved over.

SuperBowl Saturday

Today the the majority of the crew went downtown to take in some of the festivities. The day started off exciting. But once we got down there, the cold rain turned to snow.. and it snowed hard. It was crazy. We took the transit system down there which was definately the way to go. My sister drove most of the way down there and ended up meeting up with us almost 2 hours later. The transit system really made it easy. We didn’t really see much, we saw Darrel Johnstone and Peter King.. that was about it for celebrities for us. In the end it was way too crowded and cold for most of us to stay. We saw radio row and Taste of Detroit, that was about it. Randy, Paul and Ryan stayed down there longer than the rest of us, we all came back and drank and had pizza and watched the Pistons game at my house. Everything was fun all things considered.. I am not sure where they hid Detroit for this weekend but the downtown looked amazing. Everything looked really nice. The city really did a good job. Here are a few pictures
